Salary:

A competitive annual salary of $140,000 - $180,000 AUD, plus a range of benefits and bonuses.



Job Description


The Product Director will be responsible for developing and executing the product strategy for our TV and Sound Device range in the Australian market. This includes designing and implementing product roadmaps, defining pricing strategies, and establishing marketing plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute the product strategy for the Australian market, aligning with global product roadmaps and local market requirements.
  • Define pricing and step-up strategies across the TV and Sound Device range.
  • Establish strategic marketing plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets, including promotional planning and execution.
  • Work closely with the Director, Audio Visual, to develop the vision and strategy for the category group and ensure effective communication through the product management team.
  • Manage demand planning, P&L management, and supply chain optimization to drive business growth.
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients, assist the sales team with customer meetings, and manage the development and distribution of promotional materials.
  • Review and analyze marketing surveys to recommend future product development and provide weekly updates on sales status and expectations.


Required Skills and Qualifications


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • 10+ years of relevant Product Marketing/Management experience.
  • Well-developed leadership experience, including prior experience leading and coaching a team of direct reports.
  • Proven ability to achieve budgeted targets and revenue targets.
  • High level of business acumen with a strong ability to communicate, negotiate, influence, and present to all levels of the business.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to accurately forecast and manage P&L with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational, and personal sales skills.
  • Intermediate / advanced PC skills using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge or experience of SAP systems.
