Senior Environmental Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Advisor to provide essential support and advice to operational departments and contractors at our Sino Iron operation in the Pilbara region.

As a key member of our site-based team, you will drive the implementation and continuous improvement of our Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure we meet our organisational objectives.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing environmental compliance obligations and risks.
  • Facilitating environmental management processes.
  • Designing and implementing monitoring programs.
  • Supporting corporate level liaison with government regulators on permitting, licensing and compliance matters.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in environmental management, environmental science or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience managing environmental projects within the resource sector.
  • Strong knowledge of WA environmental legislation and management systems.
  • Experience with rehabilitation and environmental databases, with EnviroSys being highly regarded.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate environmental issues and coordinate environmental projects.
  • A valid manual driver's licence.
