Job Title: Cyber Security Professional

This is a key role within our organisation, providing technical expertise in the design, implementation and management of network security solutions. We are seeking an experienced individual to lead the development of secure infrastructure designs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide technical guidance to ensure the highest level of security for our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and manage network security architectures, incorporating technologies such as firewalls, routers, switches, network monitoring tools and Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential security risks, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Provide expert advice and support to colleagues on network security-related matters, including best practices, emerging threats and mitigation strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols and architectures.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing secure network infrastructure, including firewalls, routing and switching.
  • Expertise in network security technologies, including NGFW, IPSec, SSL/TLS, NAT, IDS/IPS.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Desirable qualifications include CCNA, CCNP Enterprise, CCNA Security, NSE4 in Fortinet, or equivalent.
