Senior Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced communications specialist to join our team. As a key member of the consultancy, you will be responsible for managing media relations and social media activities for clients, writing engaging content and pitching to the media, and driving coverage and interest in clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write compelling content, media materials and pitch to the media to secure client coverage
  • Research and generate proactive content ideas for clients to drive media interest
  • Coordinate and manage media and social media activities for clients, including campaign development and execution
  • Work with the media to drive coverage and interest in clients, including securing media interviews and feature articles
  • Take client and colleague briefs and act on them confidently and professionally
  • Advise and work with clients in a timely and professional manner to deliver results-driven campaigns
  • Contribute content and ideas for internal marketing campaigns to promote our services

Requirements:

  • 1-4 years' experience in communications or a related field
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative content ideas
  • Excellent project management and coordination skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience working with media and social media platforms
