Clinical Pharmacy Services Manager

The Department of Health Tasmania’s Clinical Pharmacy team delivers innovative, patient-centred care across inpatient and outpatient settings at the North West Regional Hospital and Mersey Community Hospital.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage the provision of safe and efficient clinical pharmacy services to inpatients at the North West Regional Hospital and Mersey Community Hospital.
- Coordinate clinical pharmacy services, aligning provisions with relevant standards such as AdPha Standards of Practice for Clinical Pharmacy.
- Implement service delivery frameworks, measuring and analysing information to improve service efficiency, patient care, and medication safety.
- Oversee performance indicators, develop policies and procedures, and supervise team members.
- Extensive experience in clinical pharmacy services and leadership in hospital settings is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of pharmacy legislation, codes of practice, and workplace guidelines is essential.
