Program Support Specialist

This is a critical role supporting the Restorative Engagement and School Support Branch with program and project delivery. The Program Support Specialist will provide administrative and operational support, records management and reporting support, budget and invoicing support, and other general business and project support.

The role requires demonstrated experience using multiple information technology platforms, attention to detail, excellent organisation skills and strong written and verbal communication skills. Given the highly sensitive nature of the Branch's work, empathy, resilience, confidentiality and self-awareness are all particularly important traits to bring to the role.

The Program Support Specialist will work flexibly across the Branch based on capacity and demand, and may also be required to support the work of the broader Operational Policy, School Engagement and Compliance Division on request.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Restorative Engagement and School Support Branch.
  • Support the delivery of programs and projects within the Branch.
  • Manage records and provide reporting support as required.
  • Assist with budgeting and invoicing processes.
  • Perform other general business and project support tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience using multiple information technology platforms.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Empathy, resilience and self-awareness.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software and similar platforms.
  • Project and administrative experience.
