We are seeking a skilled Enrolled Nurse to join our healthcare team as an Urgent Care Practice Nurse. This role involves working collaboratively with Registered Nurses to provide high-quality patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Assist RNs in providing patient care for injuries or illnesses
- Perform various care activities including vaccinations, wound care, plastering, and patient education
- Conduct diagnostic tests and assist with work cover injury management and phlebotomy (if applicable)
- Maintain a clean clinical area and complete administrative tasks
- Provide comprehensive documentation in patient files
- AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse is essential
- Availability to work evenings and weekends is required
- Experience in primary care settings, focusing on chronic disease management, prevention, and health promotion is desirable
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail are necessary
- A passion for patient-centered care and personable approach is essential
