About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Property Manager to join our team at Knight Frank. As a key member of our Retail Management team, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of retail centres across Adelaide and Mount Gambier.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to clients in administering the requirements of leases and licenses.
  • Manage and maintain tenancy schedules, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual income and expenditure budgets.
  • Manage and maintain bank guarantees, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct regular centre inspections to ensure the highest level of presentation and customer experience.
  • Monitor and follow up on any maintenance-related queries and works.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with occupiers, including managing any complaints or issues.
  • Provide CAPEX recommendations to the FM team.
  • Support marketing and promotional activities to enhance the centres' appeal and customer experience.
  • Manage arrears and ensure timely payment from tenants.
  • Prepare and provide monthly financial reports, including expense forecasting.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in the property industry, specifically in retail property management or centre management.
  • Relevant degree, such as a Bachelor of Business (Property), preferred.
  • Certificate of Registration (Mandatory).
  • Current Driver's Licence (Mandatory).
  • Knowledge of centre operations and retail property management principles.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Customer-centric approach and excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proactive and flexible, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
