The Location:
Situated in a scenic part of the world, our hospital is a short drive from the coast. About the Facility
This is a 300-bed tertiary facility that provides acute care services and treats over 24,000 inpatients and over 225,000 outpatients annually. The emergency department offers 24/7 emergency medical care services, with specialist emergency physicians on duty on weekdays, most weekends, and most evenings. An emergency physician is on-call 24 hours a day for major trauma and critically ill medical cases.
About the Team
Our team uses a collaborative approach to address patient needs and work with health professionals across all health settings, bringing knowledge, skills, and expertise to enhance patient care. The palliative care team includes palliative care medical specialists, specialist nurses, specialist social workers, pastoral care, and volunteers.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must hold the FRACP or be eligible to obtain it via training from NZ, UK, Ireland, USA, or Canada.
