About the Role
  • We are seeking a skilled and dedicated consultant psychiatrist to work on a locum basis, providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments and treatment plans for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, including diagnostic assessments and management planning.
  • Pursue evidence-based treatments, such as psychotropic medications and therapy.
  • Deliver high-quality inpatient care, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in regular case reviews, documentation, discharge planning, and weekly meetings with medical professionals.
  • Optional: contribute to outpatient or telehealth services.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Fellowship with RANZCP or equivalent is required.
  • AHPRA registration and eligibility to practice in Australia is essential.
  • You should possess strong clinical judgment, effective diagnostic and documentation skills, empathy, teamwork, and a commitment to delivering quality care.
