About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CE Instrumentation Engineer Manager to join our team at Microsoft. As a key member of our Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) team, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performance solutions for our data centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of highly qualified engineers to deliver industrial control systems (ICS) solutions, ensuring availability, data quality, and security.
  • Utilize telemetry analytics to drive informed decision-making and optimize system availability and performance.
  • Maintain ICS systems, including servers, applications, networks, and device infrastructure, deployed within our 24x7x365 mission-critical data centers.
  • Manage, service, and govern Microsoft's electrical and mechanical industrial control systems (ICS) to ensure compliance with safety programs and policies.
  • Empower a culture of safety and security in global data center operations by completing compliance knowledge assessments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and 3+ years of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, or systems engineering.
  • Experience building and leading an Industrial Controls Engineering team for Data Center Infrastructure.
  • 3+ years of people management experience, particularly managing a global Industrial Controls System team.
  • 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional, cross-organizational team projects.
