Job Description:
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the site's environmental and health and safety (EHS) systems are compliant with all relevant regulations. Your responsibilities will include managing EHS suppliers, providing leadership on waste management initiatives, and coordinating various reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of EHS purchases, including contract negotiation, vendor selection, and supplier performance monitoring.
- Develop and implement effective EHS procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert guidance and support to colleagues on EHS matters.
- Coordinate regular site audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance EHS knowledge and skills within the team.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in EHS roles within manufacturing environments.
- Relevant certifications or degrees in EHS, such as Certificate IV in Safety or Environmental Management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
