About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a leading organisation in the property sector as an Executive Director Legal. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the legal and governance aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and draft project delivery documentation, including tenders, contractor engagement, development agreements, complex land transactions, and commercial structuring involving significant investment deals.
  • Develop governance frameworks and structures, working closely with the Board.
  • Advise and work with various stakeholders in the private and public sector.
  • Make strategic decisions across business activities.
Requirements
  • 15+ years' experience in a similar role, with strong property law experience.
  • Demonstrated corporate governance exposure, working with Boards and ELTs.
  • Ideal mix of private practice and in-house experience.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to engage and mentor your team.
  • Commercial, results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills at a business and executive level.
  • Pragmatic and problem-solving approach, allowing you to engage various stakeholders.
