We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Swimming Teacher to join our team at the Murrumba Downs Swimming Pool in Murrumba Downs.
About the RoleAs a Swimming Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering effective swimming and water safety lessons to students of all ages and abilities. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement swimming programs that cater to the needs of our community.
You will have a passion for swimming and a commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable learning environment for our students. You will be required to work mornings, evenings, and weekends, and must be empathetic to the needs of the classes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver swimming and water safety lessons to students of all ages and abilities
- Develop and implement swimming programs that cater to the needs of our community
- Work closely with our team to achieve program goals and objectives
- Provide a safe and enjoyable learning environment for our students
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Current AustSwim Certificate – Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety
- Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
- Blue card: Working With Children Check (or equivalent) & National Police Check
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
