We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Burnie, Tasmania as a Community Engagement Coordinator. This role offers the opportunity to build stronger communities and deliver critical programs and services with flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver community newsletters and flyers to residents ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Engage with members of the community about our work and initiatives, fostering relationships and trust.
- Provide one-on-one digital technology support for volunteers enhancing their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct calls and interviews with potential volunteers to discuss opportunities and roles.
- Recognise and appreciate the contributions of members and volunteers promoting a positive and supportive environment.
- Assist in organising and facilitating community events that bring people together and foster connection.
- Create a welcoming space for community members to share their time and resources, promoting a sense of belonging.
This role offers the flexibility to work independently as part of a team and be supported to make a meaningful difference in your community.
Requirements:- Current National Police Check and Working With Vulnerable People Check (arranged through Red Cross)
