Senior Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to lead a complex project in western Sydney. This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in managing multiple large-scale projects, developing project strategies, and overseeing risk and opportunity management.

The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, delivering, and selling initial stages, as well as DA, civil design, civil construction, open space, and infrastructure delivery for subsequent stages. Additionally, there will be opportunities to contribute to planning proposals for future stages of the project.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple large-scale projects.
  • Prepare and implement project strategies.
  • Review and oversee complex development briefs, programmes, feasibilities, and risk and opportunity schedules.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities to optimize outcomes.
  • Develop and implement management policies, systems, and processes.
  • Provide expertise in understanding legal aspects and obtaining authority approvals.
  • Actively manage and develop personnel across larger teams.

Key Requirements

To be successful, you must have a proven track record of delivering complex master-planned community projects through all phases of the development lifecycle. You should be technically strong with the ability to lead team members on technical and people management matters.

Well-developed stakeholder management skills, including conflict resolution experience, are essential. You should be passionate about delivering master-planned community projects and thrive working as part of a dynamic team to drive win-win project outcomes.
