Job Overview

This is a full-time permanent role working from our Gladstone Workshop and surrounding local sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing risk, fostering a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance with Civmec's SHEQ policies and procedures, and assisting with incident investigations and employee rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with teams to promote a positive safety culture and maintain compliance with SHEQ policies and procedures
  • Conduct thorough incident investigations and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Support employee rehabilitation and return-to-work programs
  • Ensure site training compliance with TNA requirements
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or industry
  • Strong knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety legislation and best practices
  • Cert IV Trainer & Assessor qualification
  • Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Open driver's license
  • Blue/Yellow Medipass Medical (desired)
  • Pursuing degree qualifications (desired)
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, superannuation and professional development opportunities.

Location

The role will be based in the Gladstone Region, with occasional travel to other sites as required.
