The Senior Allied Health Professional plays a vital role in the multidisciplinary healthcare team, delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to meet the needs of patients and clients across the region.
Key Selection Criteria / Qualifications:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as an Occupational Therapist.
- Proven written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated broad generalist knowledge and clinical proficiency, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective prioritization and organization of workloads across a regional area.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
- Leadership and planning skills for team activities.
- Ability to provide supervision and coordination of staff and students.
- Current unrestricted driver's license and willingness to travel as required, including long distances.
