Job Role: Technical Design Specialist

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Design Specialist to join our Development, Design & Construction team. This role will play a critical part in shaping, building, and delivering our assets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive and clear design information to ensure accurate and efficient construction.
  • Ensuring that all documentation is coordinated, compliant, functional, and buildable.
  • Addressing relevant codes, Australian Standards, and NCC requirements to guarantee compliance.
  • Maintaining timely delivery in line with the Tender Letting Schedule (TLS) and/or agreed programs.
  • Producing lease and sketch plans within agreed turn-around times.
  • Contributing to the Safety in Design process to ensure designs are safe to construct, operate, and maintain.
  • Providing design support during the execution of works and leasing activities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within Property, Retail, Commercial, or Consulting highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit required.
  • Focused on quality and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.
  • Committed to learning new things, asking questions, and being curious.
  • Strong communication skills to deal with multiple stakeholders.
  • Display commercial awareness and proactive approach to work.
  • Able to problem solve using team and available information.
