We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Power Systems Division in Sydney. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategies to increase market share in the Data Centre and Cloud Services segment.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Electrical Engineering and business development, with a proven track record of consistently meeting sales targets and objectives. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase business in the Data Centre and Cloud Services segment, and will work closely with the C&SP Segment Director and Data Centre Account Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase business in the Data Centre and Cloud Services segment
- Maintain accurate records of business opportunities and sales pipeline in CRM
- Set targets and ensure strategies are in place to meet each target
- Manage accurate monthly order forecasting in line with company targets
- Develop and implement strategies to increase business in the Data Centre and Cloud Services segment
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Management, or trade qualifications with business management experience
- Proven business development experience in Electrical Technologies, preferably in Medium Voltage and/or Power Automation
- Demonstrated experience of consistently meeting sales targets and objectives
- Training in leading sales and execution methodologies
- Demonstrated experience in setting and deployment of strategy (business strategy and opportunity strategy)
- Understanding of business system applications, market trends, and integration/adoption issues
- Experience and skills in contract negotiation, tender evaluation & process
