Job Title

A comprehensive health and wellbeing consultant is required to support individuals experiencing physical health concerns.

This role involves conducting assessments, developing individualised exercise programs, and working across different sites to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Work with individuals on a one-to-one basis and in groups to support those experiencing physical health and/or wellbeing concerns.
  • Conduct functional capacity evaluations, musculoskeletal and fitness assessments, as well as worksite and ergonomic assessments.
  • Prescribe clinical exercise with a focus on work conditioning and strengthening, modelled on client-focused short-term interventions.
  • Deliver psycho-educational, work conditioning, manual handling, chronic pain management and strengthening group-based programs.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or equivalent with a master's/graduate diploma in Exercise Physiology.
  • Accredited Exercise Physiologist registered with ESSA (Exercise and Sports Science Australia).
  • Demonstrated ability to apply evidence-based and best practice therapeutic approaches.
  • Possess exceptional organisational abilities to facilitate prioritisation and effective management of key duties.
