Material Procurement Specialist

The role of the Material Procurement Specialist is pivotal in ensuring seamless manufacturing operations. They achieve this by guaranteeing timely and accurate receipt, storage, and supply of raw materials.

Main Responsibilities:
  • The specialist must unload, receive, and store inbound raw materials efficiently and safely.
  • Upon arrival, they inspect all materials to verify the correct quantity and quality as per established standards.
  • The Material Procurement Specialist completes the receipt of goods in our system and performs cycle counting for raw materials as required.
  • They stage and replenish materials to production areas according to planned schedules.
  • In addition, they maintain the cleanliness of process areas to comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating a counter-balance forklift and high-reach forklift.
  • Experience with inbound receiving, unloading, and putaway is highly beneficial.
  • The ideal candidate should possess strong team player skills and be proactive in their approach.
