Job Title: Lead Java Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Java Backend Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of complex backend systems using Java, JEE, Microservices, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and oversight to junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and software engineering principles.
  • System Design and Development: Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient backend systems using Java, JEE, Microservices, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Architecture and Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate backend systems with other applications, services, and databases.
  • Quality Assurance and Testing: Develop and execute comprehensive unit tests, integration tests, and system tests to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve team skills and processes.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend systems.
  • Hands-on expertise with Java, JEE, Microservices, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, REST APIs, and serverless frameworks (AWS).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline) and ServiceNow, Splunk.
  • Proficiency in working with databases (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including unit testing, integration testing, and version control (Git).
