Student Wellbeing Champion

CQUniversity seeks a visionary leader to champion student wellbeing and drive transformative change.

Job Overview:

  • Provide strategic leadership for mental health, safety, disability, and inclusion services.
  • Position CQUniversity as a national leader in student support and community care.
  • Align counselling, accessibility, safer communities, and chaplaincy under a shared mission of empowerment and equity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertly lead wellbeing initiatives targeting university students.
  • Develop detailed strategies for health promotion, prevention, and wellbeing frameworks.
  • Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent in relevant areas (psychology, or an area relevant to mental health) are required.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with a professional association is essential.
  • Extensive experience in relevant roles is necessary.
