Healthcare Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Coordinator to support the delivery of primary health care services across Western Australia. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating clinical follow-up tasks, managing clinician rosters and schedules, and overseeing stock control and procurement of clinical supplies.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about improving access to high-quality healthcare for people in remote and regional communities. You will work closely with doctors, nurses, and leadership teams to enable smooth clinical workflows, ensure compliance with Medicare billing, and manage logistics such as appointment scheduling and equipment management.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate clinical follow-up tasks, patient recalls, and proactive care outreach
  • Manage clinician rosters, inboxes, and clinic schedules
  • Oversee stock control and procurement of clinical supplies
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare billing, including MBS items
  • Support data collection, reporting, and patient experience feedback
  • Act as the go-to contact for remote teams requiring coordination and support
  • Contribute to service improvement projects and SharePoint resource management
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in health service administration, ideally in primary care or remote settings
  • Strong knowledge of clinical workflows and general practice operations
  • Familiarity with practice management systems (e.g. MMEx, Communicare, Best Practice)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and a proactive problem solver
  • Collaborative and supportive communication style
