{"About the Opportunity": "We are seeking a highly skilled Design Assurance Engineer to join our Hunter Class Program based in Adelaide, reporting to the Design Assurance Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working with other members of the Design Assurance Team to develop, monitor, and improve processes and mechanisms to manage design maturity.

Key responsibilities include:

* Supporting the development of existing Design Assurance capability in Australia through learning from experienced team members.
* Supporting the Design Assurance Manager in the conduct of various assurance activities that assess the design maturity of the product.
* Developing design assurance mechanisms that provide data to the Chief Engineer and Design Authorities.
* Supporting the wider engineering team and other functions to enable the successful conduct of key assurance processes.
* Maintaining a level of SQEP for the role through personal and professional development, including stakeholder relationships across engineering and the wider program.
* Demonstrably working towards professional certification with a relevant professional body.

About You:

* Demonstrated experience within complex stakeholder environments.
* Awareness and experience of design assurance processes used on the HCF program.
* Experience with JIRA & Codebeamer is desirable.
* Ability to coordinate work hours with UK stakeholders twice a week.
* Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain NV-1 Clearance.
* Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations.
