The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Diploma Qualified Childcare Educator to join our team at KU Alfred Child Care Centre. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging and educational programs for children aged 0-5 years
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive team environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of centre policies and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Australian working rights
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates, along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
  • Completed Child Protection Training, as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
  • A sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • A working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
