Family Safety Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Safety Specialist to join our team in New England.

As a key member of our Child Protection team, you will be responsible for responding to reports of safety concerns surrounding children and young people. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safety, well-being, and welfare of these vulnerable individuals.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with families, other agencies, and stakeholders. You will also need to be confident in your decision-making abilities and able to navigate complex situations.

About the Role:

  • Respond to reports of safety concerns and conduct thorough assessments to determine the best course of action.
  • Develop and implement safety plans to protect children and young people from harm.
  • Work closely with families to address safety and well-being concerns, providing support and resources as needed.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for families.
  • Manage cases and situations, including working with high-risk clients and their families.
  • Participate in court processes, including preparing documents and attending hearings.
