Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Support the Senior Finance Business Partner with the preparation of monthly financial reports and reconciliations, annual budget preparation and monitoring.
- Support with the provision of information to auditors as requested.
- Work closely with the Finance Services team to prepare ad-hoc reporting including for tenders or funding acquittals.
- Provide analysis to support effective business decisions.
- Support with enquiries from internal and external customers and provide a response promptly, accurately and confidently.
- Maintain a focus and commitment to continuous improvement initiatives when undertaking accounting processes.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Bring:
- CPA or CA qualification (or working towards).
- Current DHS NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (essential).
- Experience applying accounting standards and/or accounting principles in a work environment (desirable).
- Experience in assisting during the budget process for a large organisation (desirable).
- A well-developed knowledge of the application of finance and/or accounting principles and practices.
- A high level of ability to interact proactively with management and staff to support with financial services matters.
- Knowledge of Technology One (desirable).
