About This Mortgage Role

As a valued member of our finance team, you will be responsible for assisting and working alongside experienced mortgage professionals to grow within the industry. We offer comprehensive training to help you effectively manage client home loan processing from lead to lodgement.

Key Job Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage client home loan processing from lead to lodgement
  • Conduct thorough research and liaise with lenders
  • Analyse and verify supporting documents
  • Assist colleagues with ordering valuations, completing scenarios, pricing, and servicing calculators
  • Communicate with clients on updates and lender requests
  • Manage deal flow of new and existing loans
  • Meet performance targets from prospecting to lodgement to file quality
  • Loan packaging and maintain compliance
  • Follow checklists and requirements at every stage
  • Support team members as required
  • Assist the administration team with loan processing from lodgement to approval (1-2 days a week)

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year experience in mortgage processing within a brokerage
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong time management skills
  • Self-motivation and positive attitude
  • Attention to detail
  • Teamwork and ability to work in a high-pressure environment
  • Phone skills

Requirements:

  • Australian Work Authorisation
  • Mortgage processing experience: 1 year (preferred)

Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday
