Job Title: Mental Health Clinician

About the Role:

  • The Youth Mental Health Team delivers comprehensive support and treatment services to individuals aged 15-24 who are experiencing significant mental health concerns or distress.
  • The team is well-supported by a full-time Psychiatrist and Psychiatric Registrar, ensuring high-quality care and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide clinical treatment to patients as the primary treating clinician within a multidisciplinary team, adhering to evidence-based practices and patient-centered approaches.
  2. Contribute effectively to the team's generic and discipline-specific clinical expertise, fostering a collaborative environment.
  3. Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented treatments for all patients and their families in accordance with Grampians Health - Mental Health Services policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant professional qualification in a health-related discipline (psychology, nursing, social work, or occupational therapy).
  • Experience working therapeutically with young people and their families.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and a high degree of professionalism, with demonstrated ability to maintain ethical standards.
