About Our Physics & Oncology Role

We are seeking a driven and passionate Product Specialist to join our high-performing team in NSW in a 12-month fixed-term contract role.

This key technical and customer-facing role involves promoting our QA and Radiation Safety portfolio across the healthcare sector, including hospitals and radiation therapy centres, as well as interacting with the scientific community, government agencies, and other organisations that require radiation sources or detection devices.

As part of this role, you will work closely with our commercial team to help achieve business objectives while being the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders.

  • You will be responsible for coordinating service requests, interpreting quotations, and managing performance reporting.
  • You will utilise your Medical Physics knowledge to provide expert support to customers, helping them with their queries and requests.
  • Additionally, you will contribute to achieving Oncology business revenue targets, lead quotation interpretation and management, coordinate service requests, deliver business reporting, and collaborate with Regulatory & Quality teams to ensure product approvals and compliance.
  • You will also be required to prepare technical documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders, and provide training and support to technical and clinical staff on device usage and safety.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. You must have certification or eligibility for certification by ACPSEM or an equivalent body. Additionally, you should have minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical or industry setting, with experience in Radiation Therapy and radiation safety, familiarity with regulatory requirements for medical devices, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team, strong attention to detail, proficiency in data analysis tools, and adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies.
