Job Title: Medical Workforce Director
About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Medical Workforce Manager to lead our junior medical workforce planning, recruitment, and rostering efforts.
This leadership position oversees the planning, recruitment, allocation, and rostering of our prevocational Medical Officers (Interns, Rotational Junior and Senior House Officers, and Critical Care Senior House Officers).
The successful candidate will provide expert advice on workforce issues, ensuring compliance with best practice standards and fostering initiatives that improve staff engagement and wellbeing.
You will collaborate closely with the Director of Clinical Training and Director Medical Education and Workforce to shape a positive and supportive environment for the next generation of medical professionals.
About You- Minimum 2 years' experience in medical workforce management is required.
- Demonstrated expertise in junior doctor workforce planning, recruitment, and rostering is essential.
- A strong background in leadership, with the ability to build capability, foster collaboration, and create a positive team culture, is necessary.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are crucial.
- Organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities are also essential.
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Management, Leadership, or a related field is desirable.
