Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Finance Specialist to join our team in emerging markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and analyzing upcoming volatility events, providing real-time opinions on breaking news, forecasting dividends, and evaluating special situations such as mergers and acquisitions and other corporate actions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and analyze upcoming volatility events
  • Provide real-time opinions on breaking news
  • Forecast dividends
  • Evaluate special situations such as mergers and acquisitions and other corporate actions
  • Collaborate with derivative traders on investment ideas
  • Perform stock valuation analysis
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
  • Strong written, analytical, and financial research skills
  • Demonstrable interest in, and some knowledge of, macroeconomic environment and political events
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with a trading environment and derivative products preferred
  • Self-starter, quick learner, effective communicator, and resourceful in solving problems
