We are seeking a skilled Removals Assistant to join our team. This varied role provides support to our removalists and customers, helping with packing to prepare for a removal and unpacking to help set up a home. You will be out and about in a different location every day, largely working unsupervised; no two days are the same. Our Skills Path training scheme will take you on a learning journey to a whole new career.

About the Role
  • Carefully pack and unpack customer effects to ensure safe transportation.
  • Load and unload vehicles with precision and efficiency.
  • Read and complete paperwork required, sometimes using a tablet to streamline processes.
  • Communicate regularly with the customer during uplift and delivery to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain clean and tidy vehicles, equipment, and warehouse to uphold our high standards.

  • Be eager to learn and adapt to change with a high level of professionalism.
  • Be reliable, hard-working, and a team player who supports their colleagues.
  • Care about your personal appearance and have a helpful, friendly manner.
  • Be physically fit, as lifting and physical exertion are part of the role.
  • Have a driver's license – car license as a minimum, with confidence to drive one of our packing vans preferable.
