We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Substation Construction Manager to join our team.
As our ideal candidate, you will possess over a decade of experience in substation construction and electrical distribution, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
You will be responsible for coordinating and managing project field activities, ensuring safety and identifying and managing project risks. Additionally, you will manage day-to-day construction work and procurement activities, resource requirements, and project issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and managing all construction activities within a zone substation, focusing on safety and ensuring the project risks are identified and managed.
- Managing the day-to-day construction work and procurement activities, resource/application requirements, and project issues.
- Managing field resources in line with project organization structure, ensuring that the projects are completed to client expectations – safely, on time, to approved scope, quality, and environmental standards.
- Managing internal and external stakeholder relations with sub-contractors, the client, and internal staff.
- Coordinating sub-contractors and the quality of their work.
- Providing accurate input into forecasting of the program resource & financial requirements.
