Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Area Manager to join our team in Central NSW. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our established horticultural product portfolio, developing new market share within the pasture, perennial horticultural & cropping systems, and conducting on-farm support, technical training, and product education for resellers and growers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and expanding a well-established horticultural product portfolio through contact with customers and the reseller network.
  • Developing new market share within the pasture, perennial horticultural & cropping systems.
  • Conducting on-farm support, technical training, and product education for resellers and growers.
  • Driving demand generation through field visits, grower meetings, and trials.
  • Achieving territory sales targets and managing your expense budget effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualified applicants should have a tertiary qualification in Agriculture or Horticulture (or a related field) and minimum 5+ years' experience in grower or retail-facing roles, ideally in viticulture and/or tree crop. Strong technical knowledge in broadacre and/or horticulture agronomy, understanding of the rural distribution network, and a sales track record are essential.

Self-motivated, results-driven, commercially focused and passionate about soil health and sustainability, the ideal candidate will thrive in this role.
