About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to join our team at Norwest Recruitment. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our clients, including reconciliations, journal entries, and cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconciliations, journal entries, cash flow management, and assisting with Accounts Payable overflow
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements across multiple business entities
  • Working with other departments to ensure accurate financial information is in the system
  • Preparing month-end reports and helping to provide analysis to the Finance team
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience working in an Accounting/Finance team
  • Accounting qualifications, such as a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree
  • Clear communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to juggle tasks by prioritizing deadlines
  • Competency in Excel, preferably with functions including vlookup and Pivot tables
  • An interest in learning and developing your career in Finance

  • Up to $80,000 + Super depending upon experience
