
Visionary Education Specialist

We are seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join our team. As a school psychologist, you will provide counselling and psychological services to students, individually and in groups.
The role involves providing short-term therapeutic interventions, engaging with the Professional Practice Framework for the NSW School Counselling Service, and working with school executive, staff, and student support services to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes.
Key responsibilities include administering cognitive, social, emotional and behavioural assessments of students, reporting on the results of assessments and interventions, and collaborating to improve learning, wellbeing and mental health outcomes.
You will also work collaboratively with learning and support teams, parents and carers, and other agencies to develop appropriate school-based support for students.
Additionally, you will respond as part of a team to assist schools experiencing serious incidents and refer students and/or their families and carers to other agencies that will support the development of student health and wellbeing outcomes.
Requirements- Counselling and psychological skills and experience.
- Ability to engage with and implement the procedures of the Professional Practice Framework for the NSW School Counselling Service.
- Experience working with students, individually and in groups.
- Ability to administer cognitive, social, emotional and behavioural assessments of students.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
