Culinary Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Expert to join our team at Winning Appliances. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and showcasing our premium kitchen appliances through hands-on cooking demonstrations.

• Activation of Demonstration Kitchens: Ensure that our demonstration kitchens are fully operational and ready for use throughout VIC.
• Hands-on Cooking Classes: Develop and deliver 2-hour cooking classes that focus on specific brands or technologies, providing customers with a unique and engaging experience.
• Culinary Program Management: Collaborate with our National Culinary Manager to prepare and publish technology-based recipes, ensuring that our content is accurate and up-to-date.
• Inventory Management: Manage weekly grocery orders for cooking demonstrations, ensuring that orders are within budget and that our inventory is well-stocked.
• Customer Enquiries: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Recipe Development: Develop and test new recipes, ensuring that they meet our high standards and are suitable for our customers.
• On-screen Presenting: Present our culinary and marketing content on-screen, showcasing our products and services in a engaging and informative way.
• Food Preparation: Prepare and restock ready-to-bake items in all VIC stores, ensuring that our customers have access to a wide range of products.
• Catering Services: Provide catering services for supplier, company, private, and ad-hoc events, showcasing our products and services in a unique and engaging way.
• Brand Demonstration: Demonstrate our brands and appliances, answering customer queries and providing advice on kitchen appliance operation and cooking methods.
• Barista and Hosting Duties: Provide exceptional customer service, working as a barista and hosting duties in our stores.
• Staff Training: Develop and deliver training programs for our staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service.
• Qualifications and Requirements
  • Food Safety Certificate: Hold a current Food Safety Certificate, ensuring that you have the necessary knowledge and skills to handle food safely.
  • Current NSW Driving License: Hold a current NSW driving license and have access to a registered vehicle, ensuring that you can travel to our stores and events.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ensuring that you can effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • Outstanding Customer Service Skills: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ability to Multitask: Possess the ability to multitask, working under pressure and managing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent Personal Presentation: Maintain excellent personal presentation and grooming, ensuring that you represent our brand in a positive and professional manner.
  • Prior Demonstrator Experience: Have prior demonstrator experience, preferably in a retail or hospitality environment.
