Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled nurse to join our residential aged care team.

  • This is a permanent part-time role working Tuesday 14:30-20:30 and Thursday 6:45-13:00.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to residents, supporting their peers, and maintaining a cooperative team spirit.

  • Direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
  • Supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit
  • Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Diploma of Nursing or similar
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues
  • Good coaching/training skills
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Strong customer-centric approach to business
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
