Job Summary

This role offers an opportunity to develop your teaching skills and competencies in maths and science for students aged 7-12.

The role involves planning, implementing and delivering effective teaching programs across a range of classes and being accountable for student progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing teaching programs or courses of study
  • Teaching maths and science to students in year levels
  • Monitoring, evaluating and reporting student progress in key learning areas
  • Implementing strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate records of class attendance and student progress
  • Implementing effective student management consistent with the school's policies and procedures

In addition, you may be responsible for supervising student activities, including support and welfare programs, and contributing to co-curricular programs.

Skills and Qualifications

Applicants must have a strong understanding of maths and science curricula and pedagogy. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
