We are seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our team as a Tattoo Artist Trainee. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the art of tattooing, working alongside experienced professionals who will guide and mentor you every step of the way.

As a Tattoo Artist Trainee, your primary responsibility will be to assist our senior artists in preparing for sessions, setting up equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will also be responsible for learning and adhering to hygiene standards, including the sterilization of tools, cleaning stations, and proper disposal of waste.

In addition to these tasks, you will have the opportunity to practice your artistic skills by creating sketches and custom designs under the direction of your mentor. You will also work closely with clients, greeting them, answering basic questions, providing care instructions, and assisting with booking appointments.

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong passion for tattoo art and a desire to pursue a career in the industry. You should have a solid portfolio showcasing your artwork, including drawings or paintings, with a focus on detail, shading, and line work.

You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and reliability are essential qualities for this role, as is the ability to take constructive feedback and adapt to new situations.

This is an apprenticeship position, offering flexible hours to accommodate your learning and availability. We require a 12-hour shift schedule, and prefer candidates who hold a valid work authorization for Australia.
