We are seeking an experienced and passionate chef to join our aged care team and play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our residents through nutritious, high-quality meals.
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals in line with the menu plan, dietary requirements, and food safety standards.
- Ensure meals are presented attractively and served on time.
- Collaborate with the clinical and care team to meet residents' individual dietary needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and comply with all food safety regulations.
- Assist in ordering, stock rotation, and inventory control.
About You:
- Relevant Certificate in Commercial Cookery.
- Experience cooking in aged care is essential.
- Understanding of special dietary needs including texture-modified and allergen-aware meals.
- Strong time management and teamwork skills.
- A genuine commitment to supporting the wellbeing of older people.
