About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Deliver safe and evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Clinical Expertise: Utilize your advanced clinical skills and knowledge to provide complex and multi-disciplinary care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Teamwork: Work effectively as part of a high-functioning team, providing support and guidance to colleagues as needed.
  • Education and Support: Deliver education and support to individuals and their families, promoting health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life care.
  • Leadership: Supervise, direct, and guide nursing staff, including Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing, to deliver patient care and support professional development.
Essential Criteria
  • Australian Work Authority: Hold current authority to work in Australia.
  • Working with Children Check: Possess a valid Working with Children check.
  • Nursing Qualifications: Hold a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification.
  • AHPRA Registration: Be currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with no restrictions.
  • Specialized Training: Possess a Postgraduate Certificate in ICU/CCU or be working towards this certification.
  • Clinical Experience: Have clinical experience in an ICU environment.
  • Compliance: Comply with ACQSHC National standards.
  • Clinical Expertise: Demonstrate clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess highly developed interpersonal skills, being proactive, motivated, and customer-focused.
