Operational Risk and Control Specialist

Our organization seeks a seasoned professional to lead the development and implementation of operational risk management strategies across asset servicing operations.

About the Role

This role requires expertise in reviewing business processes, systems, procedures, and controls for regulatory compliance and customer contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough reviews of end-to-end business processes to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain risk management frameworks, internal controls, and control environments to mitigate potential risks.
  • Analyze and document risk management frameworks to identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify emerging risks and collaborate with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead large-scale project engagements from planning to final reporting.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in financial services, technology risk, and controls environments, IT general controls, and testing of automated IT-dependent controls.
  • Experience in internal audit, advisory, and/or third-party assurance engagements.
  • Knowledge of regulatory obligations and trust and transparency requirements between industry participants.
