**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled IT operations lead to manage our technology services across the business.

This is a key leadership role that requires strong technical expertise, leadership and team management skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day IT operations, managing workload allocation, performance reviews, and succession planning.

  • Leadership & People Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team to achieve high performance and professional growth.
  • Foster a collaborative and customer-centric culture within the IT function.
  • Manage workload allocation, performance reviews, and succession planning.
  • Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure IT services and projects comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Own ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.
  • Monitor service levels and implement controls to manage risks effectively.
  • Service Delivery & Operations
  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations and service desk performance.
  • Ensure delivery of reliable, efficient, and secure IT services to meet business needs.
  • Drive service improvement initiatives to enhance user satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Project & Program Management
  • Manage end-to-end IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-driven technology solutions.
  • Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Policies & Processes
  • Develop, implement, and communicate IT policies and procedures across the business.
  • Promote adoption of IT best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure alignment of IT processes with business strategy and operational goals.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management
  • Manage IT vendor contracts, relationships, and performance.
  • Negotiate service agreements and ensure value for investment.
  • Act as a key liaison between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment of expectations and outcomes.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**

  • Technical Expertise
  • Strong technical knowledge in IT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
  • Leadership & Team Management
  • Experience managing IT operations in a retail environment, including POS systems and e-commerce platforms.
  • Problem-Solving & Vendor Management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues effectively.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Communication & Knowledge Sharing
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks, project management methodologies, and industry best practices.
