Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the AFP, leading corporate functions and delivering business services to support organizational objectives.
  • Drive systemic change and process improvements across the AFP, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Pursue opportunities for cooperation and strategic alliances with Commonwealth, State, and Territory agencies, as well as the private sector.
  • Maintain and enhance a professional culture based on the AFP's core values, ensuring high levels of community confidence in the organization's integrity and effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, including Deputy Commissioners and external partners.
  • Develop and enhance strategies in accordance with national programs and priorities, including strategic operational leadership, conceptual development, and resource management.

Requirements:

  • Australian citizenship.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
  • Strong financial management experience and substantial experience in leading major organizational transformation at the most senior level.
  • Positive Vetting (PV) security clearance.
