Electronic Monitoring Services Leader

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the Electronic Monitoring Centre, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with established procedures.

  • Manage Electronic Monitoring Compliance Officers and coordinate on-shift operations within the centre.
  • Provide leadership, support, and staff supervision to develop a safe and accountable working environment.
  • Maintain accurate electronic monitoring records and complete system audits to maintain integrity and best practice.
About the Business Unit

The Electronic Monitoring Services business unit operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is responsible for maintaining oversight of the state-wide program and management of the Electronic Monitoring Centre.

About the Role

The Team Leader will manage the Electronic Monitoring Compliance Officers, providing on-shift support to the EMS management team. They will also be responsible for developing and delivering electronic monitoring training, overseeing high-level reports, supporting projects, and ensuring operations are executed according to established procedures.

This role requires rostered shift work in the Electronic Monitoring Centre and may involve on-call and standby duties. The primary work location is the Statewide Services Building, but the role may require working in Melbourne CBD and regional locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Electronic Monitoring Compliance Officers and coordinate on-shift operations within the centre.
  • Provide leadership, support, and staff supervision to develop a safe and accountable working environment.
  • Maintain accurate electronic monitoring records and complete system audits to maintain integrity and best practice.
