About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accounting Professional to join our team during a key period of transformation. This 12-month contract role is based in North Ryde and will provide an exciting opportunity for an experienced accountant to make a significant impact on our finance function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Finance System Integration: Support the alignment of our chart of accounts and reporting structures, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems.
  • Month-End Processes: Oversee month-end processes, financial data integrity, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Coordinate half-year and year-end reporting, financial statements, and audit requirements, maintaining compliance with Australian accounting standards.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise with external auditors and ensure effective communication throughout the process.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and monthly management reporting, providing actionable insights to drive business decisions.
About You
  • Qualifications: Qualified Chartered Accountant with audit experience (medium to large entities).
  • Experience: At least seven years' practical experience in financial accounting and reporting.
  • Skills: Strong background in corporate accounting, consolidations, and statutory reporting, with excellent accounting knowledge and analytical mindset.
